Honors Senior Thesis Show "F.O.C.U.S"
Alexandra Pospelova's abstract series “Focus” are featured at Hillwood SAL Gallery, Brookville, New York. The dates for this show are March 31st, 2015 through April 4th, 2015. "Focus" expresses what Alexandra believes should be the role of art and what art should represent as a truly creative form. As her subject matter, she starts with human forms, sometimes derived from classical sculptures. Her mission as an artist is to show the relevance of things often overlooked, to which people have lost their connection. Beauty and preciousness abound in hidden aspects of the world around us. Through her eyes and her art, she enables her viewers to pause and see them, to elevate themselves spiritually in the details of nature and the human form.
